My first poker experience is with my friends over a couple bottles of beer. We are already playing other game when one of us ask if we now how to play poker. We learned Texas Hold ‘Em, which by the way is the most popular variant of poker. Honestly speaking, I don’t know the rules and how to play it so we are taught on the rules, tips and tricks. After a few hours we are already playing it like pros. It is really not hard if you already know what are the suits and rankings. Even if you are just a beginner, it is easy to understand everything. We were obsessed in playing it because of the thrill of winning and the equality of the game. No one can dominate the game at the start and you all get the chance to get a good hand, it is just up to the player on how they play and win it.
We played poker every week after learning it. It is exciting to see the moves and the bluffs of the fellow players. In the long run, we learned the ropes on how to play successfully and win. We learned the tricks on how to bluff and when to fold. We learned how to bet, raise and re-raise wisely. And, you can never win if you don’t have the poker face!
Eventually, we felt bored from playing between ourselves and we venture in every gambler’s paradise…the casino. We are totally amazed by the grandeur of the first casino that we tried.
